Don Bosco Chinchwad marked a significant milestone with the inauguration of the DB ACE-Knorr Bremse Advanced Computer Program lab. This cutting-edge facility aims to empower underprivileged students with computer literacy skills.

The DB ACE project offers a credit-based structure for holistic development. It will train 350 students annually. The lab provides an ideal learning environment. The Institute announced the Partnerships with organizations like Pune Diocesan SSVP, BOL Foundation, SB Sports Foundation,  ICYM, and other NGO's for awareness and motivation. 

The inauguration ceremony of the DB ACE Knorr Bremse Advanced Computer Program lab was graced by esteemed guests:

• Fr. Savio Silveira, Provincial

• Mr. Ludwig Otter, Board Member, Knorr Bremse Asia Pacific

• Fr. Godfrey D'Souza, Rector Don Bosco Matunga

• Mr. Arun Bhist, Sr Vice President, Knorr Bremse CVS India

• Mr. Ajinkya Bangar, Deputy Manager, Knorr Bremse CVS India

• Mr. Dattatray Guling, API Mohan Nagar and several others from the Diocese of Pune. 

The Provincial invoked God's blessings, followed by a prayer dance performance by the new batch of girls.

Fr. Anton D'Souza, Director, shared the story behind achieving this milestone and felicitated the dignitaries. Guests received "Sow and Grow" seeds on paper hearts, symbolizing spreading the good news of the training center to marginalized sections.

Mr. Nilesh Chandgude, Principal, presented an overview of the DB ACE project and guided the dignitaries through the facilities.

Mr. Ashley Patole and Ms. Simran Bagul expressed gratitude to the guests.

The inauguration of the new batch of 25 students was announced.

Fr. Savio Silveira, expressed gratitude to Knorr Bremse for their significant contribution and praised the Don Bosco Management Chinchwad for their excellent work. He said that "As followers of Don Bosco, we are called to prepare our youth for the modern world, just as he did during the Industrial Revolution. Today, that means equipping them with skills for the digital age and emerging technologies." 

This quote emphasizes the relevance of Don Bosco's vision in today's context, highlighting the importance of adapting to changing times while staying true to his values and mission.

Mr. Ludwig Otter,  lauded the long-standing partnership between Knorr Bremse and Don Bosco Chinchwad, highlighting the course's relevance in today's technology landscape. He appreciated Don Bosco's passion for quality education.

Ms. Aradhana and Ms. Clare expressed heartfelt gratitude to the institute on behalf of the students. They appreciated the state-of-the-art facility, stating that the courses would significantly enhance their future prospects. The students were thoroughly impressed with the infrastructure, acknowledging the institute's commitment to providing quality education.

The event concluded on a note of appreciation and commitment to empowering students through technology and education.
