015 Don Bosco Technical Institute, Chinchwad's Pilgrimage to Sacred Relics of St. Francis Xavier.

A spiritual journey was undertaken by the students of Don Bosco Technical Institute, Chinchwad, as they embarked on a pilgrimage to the sacred relics of St. Francis Xavier in Old Goa.
The relics, which have been preserved for centuries, are kept in the Se Cathedral for veneration. The students, especially the Catholic Hostel boys, eagerly anticipated this exposition trip to Goa.
This pilgrimage provided a unique opportunity for the students to deepen their faith, reflect on their values, and connect with the rich history of Christianity. The experience is sure to leave a lasting impact on their lives.
As part of their pilgrimage, the students visited the renowned churches in Old Goa. They attended the Holy Eucharist, offering prayers for their families, loved ones, and personal intentions. This sacred ritual fostered a sense of community, compassion, and devotion among the students.
They also had the privilege of visiting various Don Bosco institutions in Goa, experiencing the warmth and hospitality of the Salesian family. At each institution, they were greeted with open arms and hearts, experiencing the signature Salesian hospitality that has become a hallmark of the Don Bosco Society worldwide.
This journey not only deepened the connection with the Salesian family but also instilled in them a sense of pride and belonging to a global community that shares a common mission and values.
For many students, this was their first visit to Goa, and they were amazed by the state's rich history, culture, and natural beauty. The visit to the relic of St. Francis Xavier was a deeply spiritual experience that left a lasting impact on their young minds.
The students thanked the Institute for organizing this wonderful trip, which not only broadened their horizons but also deepened their faith and values. The experience will undoubtedly remain etched in their memories for years to come.
