DB-ACE, Chinchwad, conducted the Convocation Ceremony for the first batch of students completing the Agentic AI course.
The specially designed weekend course, held every Saturday and Sunday, catered to the working youth of Pune city, enabling them to upgrade their skills in the emerging field of Artificial Intelligence.
The inaugural batch comprised 25 students who successfully completed their training under the guidance of faculty member Mr Cladius Fernando, Principal Architect, CTO Unit, Persistent Systems Limited.
The convocation ceremony was graced by distinguished guests including Fr Ashley Miranda, Provincial of the Mumbai Province, Mr Arun Bhist, Senior Vice President of Knorr-Bremse, Sales and Marketing and Ms Vrushali from Knorr-Bremse.
The ceremony began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by the singing of the Don Bosco Anthem.
Fr Anton D’Souza, Director of the institute, welcomed the dignitaries, students, and their families. In his address, he introduced the esteemed guests and shared the joint vision of Don Bosco Chinchwad and Knorr-Bremse in empowering youth through advanced skill-based training. He also appreciated the dedicated efforts of Mr Cladius Fernando in mentoring the students throughout the course.
In his keynote address, Fr Ashley Miranda emphasized that learning is a lifelong process and encouraged students to continue upgrading their skills in this rapidly changing technological world. Both the Provincial and the Senior Vice President of Knorr-Bremse praised the Don Bosco Management and acknowledged the guidance and commitment of Mr Cladius Fernando.
Mr Fernando presented insights into the relevance and growing impact of Agentic AI in today’s world and announced the names of the top three performers from the batch. Certificates were distributed to the graduates by Fr Ashley Miranda, Mr Arun Bhist, and Fr Anton D’Souza.
During the ceremony, students shared their learning experiences, expressing gratitude for the enriching sessions led by Mr Fernando. They described him as a strict but supportive mentor who constantly encouraged them to perform their best.
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks proposed by Ms Ankita Pandit, who extended her appreciation to the Don Bosco Management, Knorr-Bremse, and the faculty for providing valuable training opportunities and exceptional learning resources.
