In today’s modern era, education combined with professional skills and advanced technology is the real key to success for the younger generation. Keeping this vision in mind, a significant and inspiring initiative was launched today at Morwadi ITI under the leadership of Respected Patil Sir (Principal, Morwadi ITI). The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of around 120 students along with their parents.
The primary objective of the program was to introduce students to the future opportunities in the Electric Vehicle (EV) sector and the skills required to excel in it. This special initiative marked a collaborative effort between PCMC ITI Morwadi, Indo-German GIZ, Don Bosco ITI, and Tata Motors. These four institutions have come together to design a sustainable and career-oriented program for students.
Under this initiative, students will undergo a three-month training program at Don Bosco ITI, followed by a one-year apprenticeship with the prestigious Tata Motors. Moreover, the plan also includes a two-year diploma program, providing students with both academic knowledge and practical experience in the field.
This initiative goes beyond just skill development — it aims to make students employable, technically empowered, and self-reliant. The EV sector is rapidly growing in India and represents an environmentally friendly, sustainable, and future-forward industry. Training youth in this domain is not just about imparting skills, but also about laying the foundation for a greener tomorrow.
Gratitude was expressed to all dignitaries and parents who contributed to the success of the program. The core mission behind this initiative is to encourage students to pursue “industry-oriented education”, stand on their own feet, and become role models in society.
Through this joint venture, Morwadi ITI and its partner organizations are opening new doors of opportunity for students, enabling them to leave their mark not only nationally but also on the global stage.
