Welding Course

The one-year Welding course is a one-year course that combines theory as well as practical knowledge on the different types of welding and how it is used in the industry.

In the practical sessions, students learn basic filing and fitting techniques before moving on to practicing welding and brazing techniques in welding. Students also learn evaluation of jobs by self-evaluation and performing corrections when required. The Workshop calculation section teaches the student to plan and cut the required jobs economically without wasting the material and also used in estimating the Electrodes and filler metals.

The professional knowledge taught is useful in understanding the principles of Welding, Brazing, induction and cutting process, use of jigs and fixtures, distortion and methods of control along with applying the same for executing the Cutting, induction Welding, welding and brazing.

Students who complete the course can apply to start up their own enterprise or work as a Technician in various companies.
